Our teen coaches are the heart of our program. They are coaches, mentors and teachers to our elementary school players. A teen coach’s primary responsibility is to be an exceptional role model to our young players, to engage them in fun and active skill-based games and to guide their growth in positive values such as fair play, teamwork, sportspersonship, and sports skill-building.

Coaches participate in the program 4 days a week.

Tuesdays we hold "Tuesday Academy" at Smith College, at which coaches work one on one with their academic tutors. Wednesdays coaches learn and develop their coaching skills at practice on Roberto Clemente Field. On Thursday and Friday afternoons, coaches put their skills to the test running an Afterschool sports and enrichment program with 3rd-5th grade students from Gerena, Brightwood, and Lincoln Elementary Schools.
